On the occasion of the 63ᵉ anniversary of the independence of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Plantations et Huileries du Congo extend their best wishes for prosperity and success to all the Congolese people.
Founded in 1911, the PHC has witnessed many courageous struggles to secure our country's rights as a sovereign nation. Today, the company pays tribute to the national heroes who worked for the collective freedom of the DRC.
As the largest palm oil producer in the DRC, PHC is proud to play a key role in the country's economic development by providing a staple product for local consumption. The company provides over 7 500 jobs in the Tshopo, Mongala and Equateur provinces where it operates, helping to create local economies and improve living conditions in rural areas of the country. To date, the company has already built 19 schools, 9 health centers and more than 70 boreholes for the benefit of local communities. PHC also provides quality medical care to more than 150 000 people through the company's private medical facilities, including 4 hospitals, 3 health centers and 18 dispensaries.
