PHC supports investigation into two horrific crimes near company facilities

On the morning of March 25, 2022, PHC teams at the Lokutu site were informed of the discovery of two dead and charred bodies, one at the camp called Ndunda Pisé and the other at the camp called Salongo Pisé. These two camps are the result of anarchic constructions around the PHC facilities in the Mwingi Group of Lokutu. The management of PHC immediately seized the local and provincial authorities who initiated an investigation in order to find the culprits.

The families of the victims recovered the bodies of the victims from the hands of the police. PHC expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims.

PHC strongly condemns these horrific acts, and hopes that the culprits of these heinous crimes will be identified, apprehended and justice served. Details of the investigation will be released as they are obtained from authorities. PHC will continue to fully support the execution of justice to resolve this incident.
