KAMAL PALLAN

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Kamal Pallan has served as PHC's Chief Financial Officer since 2022. In addition to his pivotal role in driving PHC's financial strategy, Mr. Pallan is also a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Kuramo Capital Management (KCM), an investment management firm company that brings catalytic private institutional capital to growing African companies to generate attractive returns and positively impact local communities.

Mr. Pallan has served as Kuramo Capital's Chief Operating Officer since the company's inception, guiding its growth from its first closing of $40 million with 5 people to a $500 million business with over 25 people across three offices. He led Kuramo Capital's registration with the SEC in the United States in 2015.

Prior to joining PHC, Mr. Pallan held several management positions at JP Morgan, a US financial firm, including as Managing Director of the Global Custody business for the Americas. He was also a Product Manager in JP Morgan's ADR business, where he led GDR and ADR issuance for emerging and frontier market companies. Prior to joining JP Morgan, Mr. Pallan was an Engagement Manager in the New York office of McKinsey & Company.

Mr. Pallan serves on the Board of Directors of several holding companies, including Maku Holdings LLC, the holding company of Plantations et Huileries du Congo.

Mr. Pallan holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a BSE (Bachelor of Science in Engineering) in Chemical Engineering with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania.
