Mr. Dumidu Herath is a qualified finance professional with over 18 years of professional experience in the Asia and Africa regions. He has worked for leading companies in the manufacturing, commodity trading, plantation and FMCG industries. Mr. Herath has hands-on experience in financial strategies to facilitate the ambitious growth plans of the companies he has worked with.

In addition to his proven ability to constantly challenge and improve existing processes and systems, Mr. Herath has excellent communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate with clients and colleagues on detailed financial matters. Mr. Herath can get along with all stakeholders and provide input on corporate reporting, auditing, budgeting, negotiations, and cash management.

Prior to joining Plantations et Huileries du Congo (PHC) in January XNUMX as Deputy CFO, Mr. Herath served as Finance Director for the Pinnalanda Group Sri Lanka where he managed and supervised the entire Group Finance function. He also served as Head of Finance and Financial Controller for PT Pusaka Agro Lestari Indonesia, a subsidiary of Noble Group Singapore, where he mainly managed corporate financial reporting (IFRS and Indo GAP) to ensure that the set targets are achieved within deadlines. His professional experiences in the field of finance also include OLAM Gabon as Senior Finance Manager, PT Agro Wana Lestari in Indonesia as Management Accountant and Trelleborg Lanka (Pvt) Ltd Sri Lanka as Accountant.

Mr. Herath holds an MBA from Asia e-University Malaysia. He is also an associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK (ACMA) and Member of CPA Australia.
