At PHC, sustainability is at the core of our business vision, guiding our efforts to positively impact stakeholders, the environment, and the local economy. Our “Shared Prosperity and Sustainability Strategy” (SPPD), launched in 2022, builds on the Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP).
The SPPD strategy is structured around three pillars: Social Management, focusing on well-being, community development, and stakeholder engagement; Environment, aiming for sustainable operations, and environmental protection; and Corporate Governance, emphasising ethical management and risk mitigation. Guided by our Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), we employ a continuous improvement approach to enhance performance across all dimensions. Our ESG Department works across social services, environmental health, and community development to implement this strategy, ensuring a sustainable and prosperous future for all.
As part of our commitment to operating as a responsible business and strengthening our social impact, in 2024 we are publishing our inaugural sustainability report, reflecting on our work to drive a lasting development impact for the communities in which we operate.
